About the Author
After the war, Eleanor Perényi settled in New York, where she worked at Harper’s Bazaar and as managing editor of Mademoiselle. In addition to Green Thoughts, her works include Liszt: The Artist as Romantic Hero; The Bright Sword, A Civil War novel about Sam Hood and the Battle of Chickamauga; and numerous essays.
