About the Author

Mario Susko, a survivor of the war in Bosnia, has translated the works of Walt Whitman, Saul Bellow, James Baldwin, E.L.Doctorow and many others into Croatian. His own poetry for which he won the Council of Europe Award has been translated into German, Chinese, Italian, Polish and Romanian.
